High School Summer Scholar Program

The estimated tuition fee for the 2013 Summer Scholar Program is $1,606.*


This includes:

  • Academic Course (4 units) $1,356
  • Non-refundable Mandatory Campus Fee $250

Note that students electing to enroll in the optional Study of Law track will enroll in 8-units of study (course fees $2,712 plus non-refundable mandatory campus fee $250). For more details on this track, view our Study of Law information.

Optional Summer Scholar Events may have additional costs.

Please note: Your payment is not due until you have been accepted into the program and have submitted your official intent to participate.

*Fee is based on an estimated $339 per unit fee (most courses are 4 units) plus a mandatory $250 non-refundable mandatory campus fee. Additional materials and/or lab fees may apply depending on your chosen course. The $339 per unit fee is based on the current UC tuition. The Summer Session tuition is subject to change by action of the UC Regents at any time for all UC campuses, including UC Irvine.

Students are encouraged to research and pursue private scholarships to fund their enrollment costs in the High School Summer Scholar Program. The UC Irvine Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships offers students a list of private sources for locating scholarships.
