Coordinators
Laurie joined the Summer Session team as a student after participating in the UCI Summer Session Travel-Study Switzerland program and is now a graduate of UCI with a B.S. degree in Economics, and an emphasis in Anthropology. Laurie brings her personal experience of being a student at UCI, and her involvement in on-campus activities, to the team. Laurie maintains daily contact with students throughout the program, assisted by students in the Leadership Development Program, which she manages.
Annalisa joined the Summer Session team as a participant in the Freshman Summer Start Program in 2008. She now has a B.A. from UCI in Anthropology with special interests in Digital Arts and Dance. She draws on her familiarity with campus housing as a Resident Advisor, her experiences as a Summer Session Leadership Intern, and her involvement in a variety of campus departments, activities and clubs. She is excited to engage with students as they discover the wide-range of wonderful opportunities available to them. Annalisa will be assisting students throughout the program enrollment period and for the duration of the summer. |
Gabriella joined the Summer Session team in 2011 after graduating from UCSD with a B.A. degree in Communication and International Studies. Having worked with freshmen and transfer students before at UCSD, she hopes to provide guidance during their transition and to help build a foundation for their success at UCI. In addition, after having amazing experiences studying abroad in France, traveling, and befriending international students, she has a strong belief in the benefits of international education and is excited to foster global relationships and cultural exchange in the community. Gabriella is eager to receive international, freshmen, and transfer students and to provide them with great experiences to aid in their personal growth and educational goals.
Frank joined the Summer Session team in winter 2013 as the Transfer Lead for the Transfer Summer Start Program. Frank is pursuing his B.A. in Business Economics. Frank’s professional experience in inventory management presented unique challenges and projects. Frank was also very active in student life and activities at his community college. As the Transfer Lead, Frank brings his enthusiastic approach to program planning and his focus on communication to the Transfer Summer Start Program.
