Arroyo Vista Housing

Living on campus in Arroyo Vista housing during Transfer Summer Start is an option. By choosing to live on campus during the program, you will be grouped with other Transfer students. You will also have the unique opportunity to learn from experienced UCI students, who will be living with you as House Leaders.

Applying for Transfer Summer Housing

Please note that there is a separate Summer Housing Application (different from the Transfer Summer Start Program Registration) that must be completed in order to reserve your room for Transfer Summer Start. Please also note that this housing application is a completely separate application from the regular Fall/Winter/Spring housing application that you may have already completed. Summer housing is managed completely separately from Fall/Winter/Spring housing, and will have no impact on your housing for the Fall/Winter/Spring quarters.

If you want on-campus housing during the Transfer Summer Start Program, first turn in your paper Transfer Summer Start Registration Form and then complete the online Summer Housing Application.

Important Notes About the Online Housing Application

1. The “contract type” that you must select is determined by when you are planning on attending for Transfer Summer Start. If you are planning on joining us for the Full Summer Transfer Summer Start Program, you will want to select a “Full Summer Session” housing contract. If you are going to join us for only Session I or Session II, please make sure to select the Summer Housing contract that corresponds to your desired Session.
2. When completing the online housing application, YOU MUST USE ‘TRANSFER’ AS YOUR MIDDLE NAME. By using TRANSFER as your middle name, you will be identified as a Transfer Summer Start student, and will be housed with other Transfer students.
